If you're installing our peel and stick floor tiles over concrete or plywood subfloors - add this to your cart! Our FloorPops peel and stick tile primer is a special latex primer formulated to enhance the bond of the self stick tile to the subfloor. FloorPops Peel & Stick Tile Primer contains 1 quart in 1 bottle.

  • Latex floor primer for FloorPops peel and stick floor tiles
  • Surfaces must be sound, dry, clean, and free of all contaminants
  • Use at full strength - do not dilute
  • Apply with a short nap paint roller or a coarse fiber brush
  • Apply liberally and allow the surface to absorb the primer. Do not leave any excess primer
  • Allow the primer to dry thoroughly before applying peel and stick tiles. Typically dries in 30-90 minutes
  • Covers 87.5 to 100 sq ft per quart

Follow our step-by-step instructions of how to install peel and stick FloorPops

To be durable enough to withstand foot traffic, FloorPops were designed with a strong adhesive. This means that they are NOT removable in the sense that our peel and stick NuWallpaper or wall decals are removable/temporary. They can, however, be removed should you choose to- we recommend using a scraper or an object with a thin, flat surface to wiggle under a seam and pop a corner of the tile up.

Can you install FloorPops over existing tile?

We do not recommend installing over grouted tiles or floating wood laminate, as the base layer would not be secure. If you choose to install over ceramic or grouted tiles, we recommend filling all grout lines with thin-set tile mortar before installing FloorPops over existing tiles to create a flat, smooth surface.

Yes! Subfloors and underlayment make the perfect base layer for optimal tile adhesion. For additional adhesive strength, treat the installation surface with a latex primer.

Can I use FloorPops as a backsplash?

We do not recommend installing FloorPops on walls.
